Each May, millions of shorebirds and waterfowl migrate from every continent and ocean to breed on the immense wetlands of Arctic Alaska鈥檚 coastal plain. But expanding oil concessions and climate change are transforming the region, and with it, this timeworn nesting ground is changing, too. WCS conservationists are working on these farthest of shores to study the changes and help ensure the birds鈥� future.
