New York, NY- November 29, 2010- Members of the media are invited to get the first look at Winterfest at the ¾Õ»¨ÊÓÆµâ€™s Central Park Zoo - a winter-themed holiday program featuring pathways decked with thousands of sparking lights and festive greenery. Ìý Ìý Winterfest will run for the first three Fridays and Saturdays in December. During Winterfest, the zoo will be open until 6:30 p.m. so visitors can celebrate the season and enjoy the festivities including polar-themed performances by the WCS’ Wildlife Theater and live animal encounters in the Zoo Gallery. Snow leopards, polar bears, and penguins will receive presents filled with their favorite treats – fishsicles and fruit.
